Città di carta è la storia di Quentin e della sua enigmatica vicina di casa Margo, amante del mistero al punto da diventarlo lei stessa. Dopo averlo trascinato in un'unica notte di avventure in giro per la città, Margo scompare improvvisamente lasciando degli indizi che Quentin dovrà decifrare. La ricerca porterà Quentin e i suoi amici attraverso un'avventura che sarà al tempo stesso commovente e divertente. Infine, sulle tracce di Margo, Quentin troverà la consapevolezza del significato di vera amicizia e vero amore.
