genetica che li rende pressoché invulnerabili. Nati nel XIX secolo,
attraversano - combattendo sempre in prima linea - tutte le guerre che
la Storia vive. La loro eccezionalità non passa inosservata e un
colonnello dell'esercito americano, William Stryker, li recluta assieme
ad altri soldati "speciali" per renderli armi micidiali. Ma Logan, dopo
essersi sottoposto a una complessa procedura che gli ricopre l'intero
scheletro di adamantio - una lega indistruttibile - si ribella e fugge.
Ignaro di aver perso, nell'operazione, anche buona parte della propria
memoria, Logan - detto Wolverine - si rifugia in Canada e si innamora
della bella Kayla. Ma gli uomini di Stryker sono sulle sue tracce.
