Max Payne è un poliziotto del dipartimento di New York. Un giorno torna a
casa e trova moglie e bambina assassinati per mano di un gruppo di
tossicodipendenti strafatti di una nuova droga sintetica chiamata
Valkyr. Dopo tre anni di lavoro sul caso, Max e il suo migliore amico
Alex sono riusciti a infiltrarsi per scoprire i veri responsabili del
traffico ma tutto comincia ad andare storto: Alex viene ucciso e Max
accusato del suo omicidio. Ricercato dalla polizia ma determinato a
vendicare la sua famiglia, Max Payne non si fermerà di fronte a nulla
pur di scoprire la verità.
