Un piccolo esercito di criminali ben addestrati, guidati da Laszlo Antonov, dirotta l'Eurostar nelle profondità del canale della Manica. Con 400 ostaggi, il piano è quello di far saltare in aria la Manica dichiarando una guerra economica a un governo che custodisce fin troppi segreti. Nessuno però sa che tra gli ostaggi c'è anche Tom Buckingham, militare della SAS in viaggio con la donna che ama e che sta per dargli un figlio. Per difendere ciò che ama e salvare il resto dei passeggeri, Tom farà tutto il possibile.
