Nel film ritroviamo Tessa e Hardin ad un bivio: Tessa continuerà nel tentativo di salvarlo e di salvare la loro relazione, o sarà tempo di salvare se stessa? Mentre Hardin resta a Londra dopo il matrimonio di sua madre e sprofonda nell'oscurità, Tessa torna a Seattle e deve affrontare una tragedia. Se vogliono che il loro amore sopravviva, innanzitutto dovranno lavorare su loro stessi. Ma le loro strade li ricondurranno l'uno dall'altra?
