Per Cobra (Pierfrancesco Favino), Negro (Filippo Nigro) e Mazinga (Marco Giallini), essere celerini, agenti della Sezione Mobile, è uno dei lavori più ingrati che possano esistere. Perennemente per la strada e bersaglio continuo dei protagonisti di numerosi episodi di guerriglia urbana, dagli scontri del G8 di Genova ai continui e sanguinosi scontri fuori dagli stadi, i tre sono costretti anche a guardarsi dalla diffidenza dei colleghi della polizia, non sempre favorevoli ai loro metodi spesso violenti e carichi d’odio, e a confrontarsi con una vita privata fortemente compromessa. Un giorno poi, mentre i tre sono impegnati con le loro vite private ormai allo sbando, nella loro sezione arriva Adriano (Domenico Diele), una nuova recluta da addestrare e a cui impartire le regole base dei celerini.
