Il suo amante Asmodeo, il Diavolo, la fa ritornare in vita trecento anni dopo affinché possa vendicarsi su Emilio Altieri, un lontano discendente del prelato che la incriminò: il piano consiste nel farlo innamorare di lei e poi ucciderlo sul più bello.
