Per questa ragione viene contattato per difendere Louis Roulet (Ryan Philippe), un giovane miliardario di Beverly Hills accusato di stupro e tentato omicidio nei confronti di una prostituta. Louis dichiara sin da subito la propria innocenza ma toccherà a Mick, con l’aiuto dell’investigatore privato Frank Levin (William H. Macy), far luce su quanto realmente accaduto, mettendo a repentaglio anche la propria vita.
